Greetings, everyone. I am a newbie and just trying to figure out the ins and outs so far and would be very happy and grateful for your advice.
I decided to buy a replica watch for the first time and liked Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26420 and faced with the choice of which factory to order from, tried to proceed from the information on the forums, but still hard to choose. For myself noted. APF, APFS and also advised HBF factories.
My goal is to buy a copy as close as possible, so that nothing could not be squealed at, that the performance was excellent, especially in the details, that it was also covered with real rose gold.
So I would be very grateful for advice and help in choosing a factory
Thank you all

Hi and welcome to RWI! Glad you found your way here.

Unfortunately, I can't help much on your specific question, I'm not familiar with this model. As far as I know, APSF does good AP reps, not sure about APF quality, and never heard of HBF.

Please take some time to read the sticky threads in the new members area (all subsections), learn the basic forum rules and get some very good advice in the process. A number of questions has already been answered there, this is just an example:

As a new subscriber, you've already been directed to this thread, please read carefully and look through the linked additional threads:

Another good thread to read to understand where RWI comes from and some fundamentals is this:

Most of the information you need to know to start is there. If you're preparing to buy, read the stickies before ordering. When you're finished, you can continue learning by reading the stickies in all remaining sections. If it's stickied, it's important information.

If you intend to sell, read the sales rules and all stickies in the sales section with particular care and make sure you understand each single rule. Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Using the sales section is a privilege, eligibility must be earned, make sure you know and understand how.

For anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or me, we're happy to assist, advise, direct, explain. Don't hesitate.

Don't be afraid to post noob questions in the new members area. In doubt, use the flame free zone. If you feel uncomfortable anywhere in the new members area, please reach out to @eBoy or me. Mutual respect is of utmost importance to us. On the other hand, we're grown-ups and are supposed to be able to deal with a bit of irony, don't take it personally, ever, a bit of irony never harmed anyone. This forum is a treasure trove of information and benefits from the engagement of all members who take their time to share their knowledge, help each other out and have some fun. We hope that you'll benefit and enjoy this platform as well as contribute positively to it.

If at any point you feel to contribute also on another level, feel free to pm the boss (trailboss99) to become a supporter and get some little perks with the status (editing rights, for example).

Enjoy the forum.

You need to take a deep breath, take a step back and understand what you are getting into. A rep AP covered in real rose gold with no flaws that can be called out and performs "excellent" ? Yeah, right...... It's a replica. You are living in a fantasy where you want to pay 1% of genuine cost but want to get 99% performance. No factory makes a replica covered in real gold. Why ? Because that would be akin to rolling a turd in gold dust. If you know enough about watches and APs and have deep enough pockets, you could source the best available replica (the basis of your question), have it frankened to address most of the known details (you still won't realistically create a watch with zero flaws) and then have it gold plated through one of the aftermarket guys but that's not a $600 exercise, it's a $10,000 exercise so you need to know what you are doing. BTW, EVERY replica has flaws that can be identified by those in the know. It's just that 99% of people in the real world don't even know what AP is, leave alone be across all the details enough to call you out on a quality replica. As for excellent performance, what's the benchmark ? Compared to a gen ? Compared to an obviously bad replica ? Compared to legitimate homage watch ? Compared to any mechanical watch with a decent movement ?

I'll make it easy for you. What you're looking for doesn't exist. You will have to compare all the available options and decide which works best for you.

Frankly, I don't even think ANY factory makes a 26420 currently.

That aside, I don't know your personal circumstances, but that watch sells used for about $56K in real life. The most important tell of a replica is the wearer, so if you couldn't afford a $56K watch in GEN if you really wanted to , then you "can't pull it off, no matter how good a replica it is."

Another thing to consider is that any watch with "gold" covering is very vulnerable to damage of the plating. A GEN AP has a solid red gold bezel, so if it gets a ding, it's still all gold. A replica with a deep enough ding or scratch is dead in the water until you have the bezel replated, hoping it's a match to the plots.

My advice to you, start slow. Buy a 15720 either new from a TD or used via M2M. They come up quite often here and then see if you like wearing them. Let me tell you that ROOs are heavy watches, and they wear bigger than their size suggests as well.

I have a 15710 and a 15709 and several other watches, even bigger ones, such as Panerai, but the APs are the heaviest ones.

Thank you for your responses. As I mentioned previously, I am relatively new to this subject and I believe I may have not posed the question accurately. Of course, attempting to create a candy from something inexpensive is unusual, as I have previously observed that individuals have been selling copies of watches with the appearance of the original. It is likely that this is simply a marketing tactic and nothing more, in my opinion. Therefore, thank you for shedding light on the actual situation.

Nevertheless, I would appreciate hearing from those with experience. Which manufacturers produce the highest quality replicas, in terms of small details and mechanism? Which production line of Royal Oak Offshore offers the best quality, and what am I seeking? Perhaps someone has had experience in this area, and I would greatly appreciate it.
