Hello everyone,
I'm currently in Canada and seeking guidance.
I'm in need of a replacement parts for a Rolex 4130. Specifically, I've broken the spring for in-setting for the escape wheel, Rolex reference 4494 (if I'm not mistaken), which is located on the train wheel bridge.
I've come across suppliers like Startime, with product number RP2030-4494-5A, offering similar parts on their website. However, these are advertised for movements 2030, 2130, and 2230. Can I be confident that they will fit the 4130?
Additionally, I'm on the lookout for springs for the yoke (4130-241). These #@%"ers have a tendency to jump around, and I'm wondering if the springs from the 3135 can serve as replacements, considering they don't have the exact same shape. Is there a more affordable source for these springs, perhaps a hidden gem where they don't cost $20 each?
I appreciate your kindness and any insights you can provide. Thank you.
