Hello I have come across this watch in the pics. Basically all I have to tell the gentleman is yes or no.
Im not really interested in the watch since im not really a Pam Fan. So He made me a deal I can not refuse
if its real of course. The only thing wrong with the watch is a cracked crystal. One of the hands are missing some lume from what I can tell.
The pictures he has sent me are a little blurry, I tried my best to pull a CSI move on them. So, my questions are as follows

1.) Do you think its real or fake?
2.) If real, what can I sell it for and where?
3.) If I do the minor repairs it needs where should I go to get them done?
4.) Could you tell what year it came out if it is real?

Would really appreciate the help gentlemen, thank you in advance. :)

Curious to see what experts say. Have no idea because somemodders do so fantastic jobs on here, but somehow like the vintage looks. Why is the strapsize not correct on a gen and the lugbar is in a real strange position on the movement pic? And why are the pics always so blurry when someone wants to sell a gen?

The first thing I notice is that the crown guard lever opens from the top instead of the bottom which I believe is correct on 127's.

There's a lot more wrong than a cracked crystal :D

Crown guard is arse about, dial and movement are wrong. Watch production number is conveniently concealed also.

err. why is the crown guard installed the wrong way around...the "REG TM" should be the facing same way up as the watch face, not the same side as the movement. and yea the crown guard lever should open from the bottom up. that, and a whole bunch of other things about the watch just about screams fake.

its very very possible that its fake with decorated molnija 616 movement, i would say stay away. Never seen molnija with officine panerai stamped/engraved. and look at that awful CP, might be photo quality but still.

I'm not even a Panerai expert and I can tell this is fake as hell. Look at those screws in the movement! Are they domed plastic?? lol

Thank you tom_cat you are so right. The guys english is a little hard to understand, he did tell me that the watch has all the matching paper work and can be verified. He is flying in from paris in a couple of weeks , so either he will be sending me the watch or bring it with him. He did say something about the watch belonging to a former French Football player, bought from anticorum and something about RXW and when I looked that up via google the crown guard was missing the T M REG from the front. Im intrigued and for what he wants from my collection can be bought from watcheden in a heartbeat. I will take pics with my nikon DSLR D70. Didn't say Im going to take the plunge, but Im going to get my feet wet just a little. :)

Lol!!! Very true. He said he will bring all the paper work and we could bring it to any where I like to prove its authenticity. Im located in the miami area so I will have to find a local Panerai Dealer probably in the seybold building downtown miami.

Probably the worst example I have seen of an attempt to replicate a PAM Fiddy. Every visible part is totally inaccurate. No point in having anyone else or an AD verify this POS.

The story/provenance you were given about this watch is all a fabricated lie. Avoid this rep at all costs.

I truly hope you are not serious about meeting up with the seller :(
