Hi all PAM pros, as i am quite new here, i had read lots of info regarding rep PAM till have a serious migraine for the pass few days (I never know a rep can be soooo complicated.) There are lots of parts and name which i need to get used to it and learn how to locate it. Well, this can be quite hard for a new guy like me that starting to learn bout what.

Recently i just bought a PAM 111N V3 by Noob maker from one of the TD. It is my first rep. Today i received the QC pics from the TD, and i try to compare it with ALE's PAM guide to ensure everything is as correct as listed in the guide. But somehow i still got some uneasy feeling bout my own judgement regarding the QC pics. I had read the thread regarding the QC pics arent suppose to be abuse and i know everything bout it. And recently, there are cases where some buyer receive the V3 with the wrong dial.

Well, i just hope that some PAM pros or senior which can help me to have one last check on my QC pics before i approve it and deliver to me.

I gonna thanks everyone for the contribution in PAM section and especially to ALE who make the whole PAM guide which a newbie like me can actually refer to it. Thanks!

Here are my QC pics, and from what i have inspect, it "should" be the correct and good V3.

Looks OK to me... I think the 2 looks suspicious to doc because of the angles of the photos.

Not a pro at all but seems like the 2 is fine but there's a little part on the one that looks like a leftover from a cut or something that would definitely bother me if I had this watch.
Hopefully its just dust?

Towards the bottom half on the left side.

And the R on Panerai is spaced weird. Forget where but this error is common on one manufacturer. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have check everything based on this list below.

According to observations from sharrkey and ALE , the improvements we can expect are:
- Crystal updated to single AR like gen PAM 111 with a very good optics. Be careful because some items seem to have the crystal a little too raised. (I am not sure how to check for this.)
- Hands must be Pre-V type like gen. (This one is correct.)
- Flattened and polished cannon pinion. (I dont really understand this one. No pics to guide me.)
- Matching hands and dial superlume, certainly not as bright as the H-maker’s lume. (No night shot for me to be sure of, might request for it.)
- CG improved to the latest standard with nice “square†inner edges. (This one is correct.)
-“A†central horizontal bar in dial inscriptions is placed higher (very, very lightly). (Not sure bout this one.)
- Strap screws do seem a better fit, more flush. (Not sure bout this one.)
- Serial numbers in caseback are engraved more deeply. (This one is correct.)
- Improved and more visible Roller of the lever and axle. (Not sure bout this one.)
- Nice engraved OFFICINE PANERAI on the movement plates. It semms that sometimes the last “I†is a little lower. (From the pic, i can't judge whether it is printed or engraved.)
- No modifications concerning Swan Neck (either spring or screw), Incabloc or movement. (This one is correct.)
As showed in above mentioned thread about V3, the flaws to be corrected in this V3 version are:
- “Y†shaped Incabloc
- Long screw on Swan Neck
- Correct SHAPE in Swan Neck Spring support
- “Slim†crown
- Gasket for the CG Pin
- Brushed movement golden gears
- Improvement of OFFICINE PANERAI engraving in movement bridges

Thanks guys. Will pm the TD do that he can ship my watch. Btw, just wondering, I think we need a guide on how to water proof the watch. Well, more related guide as all the results I search are on water proofing Rolex. I guess maybe someone expert can come up with a guide or something.

From what i read on how to water proofing, they UV glue the whole crystal. Do we really need to do that?
