NEED HELP on a GEN PANERAI!!!

Hello my fellow watch lovers,

I will be going to Europe this August and one of my stops is to Florence! I will be stopping by the Florence boutique as we all know its the first Panerai store. I will be buying a Panerai but don't know what to get. I have a Gen Pam 233. Any advice on what to buy? I want a Black Panerai so maybe a Pam 292, Pam 438, Pam 441....?

Please help any input will be greatly helpful! Thank you in advance!

If I had a gen 233, I think I wouldn't need any other PAM. :lol:

If it has to be black, my choice would be 292J, 508 or 508 destro (can't remember a reference). If others are option, 676 and 657 are nice options and definitely something I would consider as a gen if I already had 233 (which would be my first choice too).

Maybe we meet in Florence as I'm planning to visit it this summer too!

I didn't think about the Pam 508! I have already a blk face which is the Pam 233 and a gen white face Rolex explorer 2. So trying to cover all basis and get a blk gen watch. Thanks for your input! I'll be here August 13th to the 28th my friend let me know!

What about the 580 Flyback or the 661 Carbotech? I 100% agree with the above sentiment -- get something that can't be repped!

I thought the same. I got the Pam233 cause it is hard to rep. But for a black pam it seems like all has been repped and been repped really well. Tough decisions.

I agree completely! I was thinking about a gen 111 also too. Don't worry my friend nothing beats the feeling of knowing you have a gen on your wrist! Wear it in great health!
