Hello everyone.

Unfortunately my rep PAM Flyback Regatta 253 front glass took a hit and cracked.
Is there anyone on here that knows where i can get a replacement glass saphire crystal, and who could do the repair? Also one of the screws from the crown clasp has lost it's treading as if it's stripped. This is great watch that has always kept perfect time. I'd hate to have to trash it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Regards,

Slay

You could try contacting Katt, and see if he can source the parts for you and replace them if you're uncomfortable opening your own watch. There's a whole section of trusted watchsmiths/repairers, I don't think there are a lot in the states though.

253s are notorious for this. The joys on mineral crystal. Best thing to do would be find a dead watch and replace what needs to be replaced

Mineral Crystal!!! Tell me about it!!!
Wish they made these with saphire. But at the time I bought it about 4 years ago this is what was available and I really dug the look of this model.

You could go to Plexiglas >>>

Carefully measure the existing crystal, then go to the O.Frei site and look around at his pocket watch crystals...
i got one for my 217 a few years ago for @$5.00!!:

IIRC, it was 40.3MM dia......It doesn't have as pronounced a dome as the original, but I actually find that a plus when wearing it.

as for your loose CG screw, I would suggest using some type of non permanent adhesive compound on the threads, such as "Blue Loc-Tite"...

or buy a cheap homage from jackson I got one and the mineral actually seems pretty nice very little distortion and has yet to scratch (majorly) anyway.

If that's the same CG as my Slytech, the screws are not the same size as with the non-chrono models. That could be a tough one. Maybe an RC dealer?

The crystal is not so tough unless that case takes a different size crystal than a standard Luminor style. You can get sapphire from Tat, DSN and other builders for $40-50. Katt will install it for you, np.

Katt replaced my broken mini fiddy crystal.

If you send it to Katt, you will need to source the crystal for him. Try Jackson.

Same happened to me. Bought a new case with crystal and simply changed dial and movement.
Ask your dealer and see what he can do.

Hate to be a pest,
but how would I contact Katt and Jackson?
Are they in the Repair and Modification pages?

Thanks
