You won't go wrong with 390 but there are a lot of models to choose from. Also this H-factory 390 is on sale in Sead section for around $180.

You should tell us what you like, then it's easier to recommend you something. For a first PAM good models are 111, 005, 390, 380, 292, 388, 320, 312, 243... but it all depends on your taste (case shape, functions, movement...)

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
You can never decide on just one PAM. You get a Luminor, then you want something in a 50s case, then you want a Radiomir, then you want a PVD Luminor... oh, wait, they just came out with a super rep sub, you better get that. And you don't like the vintage ones at first, but then they start to grow on you until you just have to have one. Then all you want is the clean lines of a base model. Wait, what's that? A destro, you must have one of those!
They're definitely addictive, so be careful.

I think the best way to decide is to look thru the thread that people post their PAM wristie of the day...you can see a ton of different PAMs this way, and get an idea of how they look on the wrist. But I've gotta agree with panermaniac...PAMs are fun and addictive to buy!
