Hi guys, I have a 4 year old PAM351, the version V6F version with non-inverted seagull movement, but the crown came loose recently and I can no longer adjust the time. I took out the crown guard and found the stem to be quite short so I assume the crown stem is broken. May I confirm this and do anyone know if this is a simple fix by sourcing a replacement stem? And may I also know where can I source this from?

Sorry, I tried to look around the forum but couldn't find an answer and I have not logged into the forum in some years :( Not sure why I can't insert an image by url also, so Imma leave the imgur link here

Yep. That’s a broken stem.
You can try and find a stem on eBay, cousins, ofrei and so on. Just look for your movement. I suppose it’s a 7750?

Carefully remove the remaining stem from the crown with some pliers. Removing the remaining stem from the watch might be more difficult.

The new stem might be to long. You can carefully cut it.
If cant find a stem, a stem extender might be a solution. On second thought... That could also be the solution to get the remaining part out of the movement.

Sorry for the late reply, and thank you very much for the confirmation on the broken stem.

However it is a Seagull ST2555 movement and I can't seem to find the stem for this piece with google and aliexpress.

Any kind soul that can point me in the right direction to look for it? Once again, thank you very much!! :D

Any progress?

Sorry for the very late reply, finally found some time to do this and got all the parts/tools ready.

Removing the movement and the broken stem (in the movement) was doable after some trial and error but I'm now stuck at the part of removing the broken stem on the crown. Seems like it was screwed down very tightly :(

Any ideas how I can remove it easily?

I once dissolved the stem in a alum solution.
But this is only possible if the crown is stainless and the stem isn't.

I couldn't find alum easily. So I bought a piece for shaving and grounded a piece of that and put it water.
Put the crown with the stem for a couple of days and you can simply remove the remains of the stem with a needle.

I have successfully used heat to remove a crown stuck to the stem. A minute or two with a hairdryer and the crown unscrewed as easy as anything.

Finally managed to get the stem out, didn't know theres no many parts just for the crown. But I think the stem that mysterio recommended doesn't fit. Its quite a loose fit compared to the previous tight fit, which I had alot of troubles getting it out.

Is there anywhere to get this exact stem?

Still not sure why I'm not able to post pictures but here they are. The stem on the most right is the one I bought from mysterio's link. Any advice? Thank you very much!
