Need help as moving over to a 47mm

I currently have a PAM 111 and I am looking to move towards 47mm PAMs as they're growing on me. However I am unsure of how a 47mm will fit my wrist.

Any suggestions on the comparison between a 44mm and a 47mm? Looking at a PAM 372.

The lug-to-lug size is what matters most.

If you have a 7.25"+ wrist, go for 47mm with eyes closed
6.5"-7"ish- try it on for size at the AD, see if you like the look and feel of it
<6.5", you know it's too big but hey, that's the PAM life.

You can compare these measurements with the flat of your wrist. As long as there'll be no lug overhang, I think you're good :)

I started with 44mm PAMs. Then I only wore 47mm

After putting on a 44mm again it felt so much better. I have 6,5-7'' wrists depending on the temperature. I find the lugs on a 47mm hanging over

I guess it also depends what's in your collection. If you've got a few 40mm dials already then a 47 will probably look massive in rotation, so maybe look at the 42mm and 44mm. (I think the 682 is lovely - if indeed, a Pam should be lovely...)

Nah just have a 111. I'm currently looking towards the 1950s collection, will most probably get the 372 haha.

Going to the AD to try it out is a good advice.

Personally, I don't think it'd be a problem but you must be okay with it.

I have a 7" wrist and the 44mm PAMs are great, 47 is a bit large for my taste. However the 372 is so good...if you can tolerate the size get it. I may get another one haha

And variety is the spice of life right?

Convert your wrist size to mm and divide 4. This gives the maximum size you can wear. Divide by 5 gives you the smallest size. :B:

By that logic I would have to get rid of all of my watches. Fortunately I am illogical. :lmao: PAMs are meant to be worn big. But that's just me.

These watches were supposedly to be worn on the outside of diving suits and on the sleeves of army jackets. No such thing as too big then

I have 6.75” wrists and every time I see a 372 I wish I never sold mine.. But I have to say I did get a 44mm after that and it wore better.

Never come across that before, but its surprisingly good. I come out at 46.5mm - but i'm still getting a 47!
