Need advise - Pam caseback opener tool

I'm looking for Panerai caseback opener tool for my rep Pam 389 (VSF V2) . The rotor move is a bit noisy and I want to take a look inside how or where I can oil it. In doing so, I need a caseback opener tool and from google this one looks interesting.

Has anyone used this tool? Is it likely to harm or cause some scratches to the case? Or is there any better tool!? Thanks!

I asked this same question like a week ago. I saw someone include a caseback opener the printed themselves with a 3d printer and did a search. I found it but the file was no longer available.

I couldn't get the case to open for the life of me so I ordered one of the caseback openers on Ebay. It was less than $10. But it takes a while to get delivered.

Then just today I managed to get it open with the inflated ball.

Oh..using a ball seems like a more gentle way to open the case. Which kind of ball is this? where can I get one?​

Amazon, eBay...the 1$ store. It's not an overly special ball. Just a rubber ball which should ideally not be too big for you to use in your hand.

You're welcome. Be advised though that although the ball is great for removing casebacks, its performance for tightening isn't as good. So for that you would really need a caseback tool (either a PAM specific one or the one used by watchmakers). .
