Need advice on picking the right Panerai with blue dial and brown strap

I walked past my local jeweler's case display and saw a beautiful PAM690 with blue dial and brown strap.
This made think about buying a second rep (Already own a Tudor Black Pelagos V6F V4).
I came across a few reps of the 690 including this one from ZF https://puretime.io/pam690-s-zf-1-1...k-brown-leather-strap-p-3000-super-clone.html
None of them, though, are on the super rep/NWBIG list. Could anyone tell me how the PAM690 holds up against for example the well known PAM111 Noob super rep?
Is it safe to go for the 690 or are there other versions with a blue dial - brown strap combo as well?

It depends on your intention. If you just want to wear a good replica of a Panerai with a blue dial, the PAM690 is nice. If you intend to make other people believe that you are wearing the genuine article, then even if you wear the PAM111, then it's not safe. Not all reps can/will be in the Super Rep/NWBIG list, but it should not stop you from enjoying the hobby.

The 690 is a good looking watch, I just picked up a PAM 688 and ordered a Prof Xtal for it, both watches are very limited in production, they were 500 units of the 690, and only 300 of the 688, so bumping into another 690 is highly unlikely.

FWIW. I’ve reached out to several TD’s- 690 is sold out ZF/KW. Except SF maybe- Ryan is checking as some TDs don’t deal with SF I have discovered.

I understanf your point. At certain prices (over 300$) though, I want nothing else than a super rep. It's the small details that start annoying me over time.

Could you recommend any other models with a blue dial?

The PAM690 and PAM688 have what is called a blue sunburst dial, and these are the only ones that have it at 47mm. There were ones in 44mm but those are no longer available. If your only issue is the strap, then just go buy another strap. The rep straps need to be replaced anyway.

You could also go with an 087 if you’re OK with a diver. Not sure if the inventory is any different as it’s been a while since it was released, but one more option ...

It's no longer available as H-factory is no more. M2M would be the best bet.
