Need advice for ETA 7753

Hey, brothers! Need expert advice. I have two ETA 7753 movt and I would like to implement two projects. One concerns the installation of ETA 7753 in PAM356 from NOOB with the A7753 on board. The second project is to install ETA7753 into Navitimer from the link. In it А7750 with a non-working disk for 3.

Following this for the 356 swap, would love to make this work. The OOTB O Series is amazing barring the wobbly hand @3 issue which is a constant thorn in my side. This watch would get some serious wrist time if a 7753 could be swapped into the case!!

I did it. For installation in PAM 356, I had to reprint the Date Disk to match the font.

Hey congratulations on the swap! Was is difficult?

I have a A7750 (3,6,9 config) aka the 3LZF3-4 On my Paul Newman Homage.

Im looking to get the Valjoux 7753 into the case. (I have no concern over the date window/wheel)

From my research, I predict i will run into a few hiccups.

1. Movement height.
A7750 has a height of 8.77mm

Vs the Valjoux 7753 has a height of 7.9mm

Was this an issue for u?

2. Hand sizes

The has used cant be used for the Valjoux. And I can source out a 7753 hands with no problems.


Is there anything else I overlooked? I appreciate any feedback on this!

Hello! I changed A7753 to PAM for ETA 7753 and I had no problems with the height of the movements. Hands are not a problem, they do not require much refinement. When replacing the A7750 to ЕТА7753, the dial may go below the location and you may have to install the ring, or maybe not ... you need to try and in any case, in each version of the watch, the original solution.
