Would you buy it? Should I? I know next to nothing about panerai, but have been looking for on on a steel bracelet...

My 0.02 - Open caseback with auto movement? Would be a bit too much of a screaming tell, this one.

That's a nice watch IMO.

Price is up for debate but it is brand new.....

The movement is a tell, but no one can see it.

Thanks, but not fond of the gmt. Definitely want the "sandwich" dial, and I actually use the date at work all the time... same exact watch with a date magnifier would be perfect if it existed. something about that date window just looks "naked" to me...

oh, and I know I could just write down the date, or remember it even, but it's become a habit(crutch) to look at my watch every time I need to write it. Wore my milgauss today, and found myself lost a few times...

Thanks, that 104 looks sweet, but I already have this one (165 I think) that is somewhat similar(not that they all aren't somewhat similar):

and really want to try one with the dial that has the "recessed" numbers( that is the sandwich dial, right?)...

anyway, I sent a pm over there to buy the 328. I hope I like it...

(I'd just slap a bracelet on this baby, but I think it's one of the titanium models and probably wouldn't look right...)

Only the newer models of auto PAMs, like the 312/328 have sandwich dials, bigdeal.

Ok, So I bought the watch linked to in the initial post. It's on its way. How hard would it be to switch the crystal for one with the magnification like the one pecman posted? Would it line up correctly?

I don't really care if there is a gen model that has one, I just think I'd like the watch better that way. Is that something I could do myself? I have a pretty nice set of watch tools, but i'm not sure what they are all supposed to be used for...

since this is the ultimate or whatever i didnt need to update the date w couse goin said it was just really good
