Hello all,

I am looking to get a PAM for my brother and as I am all into rep IWC pilot watches (got the 3717 and 3789 Top Gun from Toro) I know little about them so your help is appreciated.

I am looking for a PAM:

Stainless steel or DLC
AR Sapphire crystal
Power reserve indicator
Non chrono
Date but no cyclops
Automatic or handwind
swiss movement or reliable Asian

Price is no issue, I just want the best rep out there.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

that's a lot of specific wishes you have there.
why don't you look through the pam guide from ALE. it ia easy to find, and contains all the data you need. that way, we don't get these zero information threads clogging up thr forum.
sorry mate, I don't mean to be a party poop, but the more research you do yourself, the more sure you will be about your desires, and the more you will learn about the watches you are asking about.

good luck.

I chuckled a little bit when i read this. This guide has saved me literally says of searching and is invaluable. I can't applaud the effort and the amount of research and organization, the tedious upkeep, for free! If the subject matter want illegal if suggest ale get this published. I'll take another opportunity to thank him and all the contributors.

You're not cluttering anything and are welcome to ask for help when needed.

Your specific list of wants really narrows it down. If you drop the power reserve indicator requirement you'll have a lot more model options - and better reps at that - plus eliminate a function prone to malfunction on reps.

If your O.K. with a cyclops INSIDE the case, DSNs SOPROD modded ETA 027A is a stunnig watch.

Now if you could only do one for Rolex....

Hi ssb

Many thanks you are very kind for your comments
Really hard job to do it and to...read it... LOL
I really don't understnad the comments from dlazaros thinking the GUIDE was Outdated, because there are in the GUIDE a lot of dates, links, pics and versions just released.

"Perhaps you can be an exclusive Pam vendor" Good idea!!
LOL

In Rolex we have the fantastic Bonesey's Rolex Wiki

Thanks again

Agreed (Bonesey), is fantastic as well, didn't mean to detract from his accomplishments. Personally i got dizzy when i tried sporting through all the Pam models and then the rep models and then the, well you certainly get the point. I was unfamiliar with Pams and probably drove poor Sead crazy for a month before pulling the trigger on one!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, appreciate it.
@ALE, no offense meant, the guide is a must for out of PAM world watch enthusiasts, hell it is even good for buying a gen PAM! I sure found what I wanted.

Thank you.
