I thought Foreign section were created so member who had difficulties in English could participate, to avoid disparities, the french corner is not the corner of the french but the place were member who's mother tongue is french can express themselves and have answers to their questions. It's probably a fact that 90% of those posting there are of french nationality, but there are Canadians, Belgium, Swiss, and many others…
We've voted in mass for Yannou because he's our friend, we've met him and spent time with him on several occasions, some for more than 5 years (10 Lyon GTG, 10 Paris GTG, etc…) we're talking about real friendship, not 'PC pals'….
Nothing suspect about that…. Just a quite normal behavior. Some of us wanted their friend to get the maximum vote and went on campaign, nothing wrong either...

I've been speaking fluently English for over 25 years, (I did my High school last year and all my college in the Boston area from 08/1989 to 06/1993), I still speak english on a daily basis in my job and I can assure you that it's impossible for me to get all the niceties of the american humor….

Last time was because some of us were encouraging other member to become VIP, WTF??? I admit we explain the procedure openly but did you not jump at us a bit too fast? We're just trying to help the forum we care for.
Even if 'Ghost' accounts were made and fake votes done (which I truly not believe, but I'm not in every member's head and some people do really stupid things sometime for no reason), would it be a real reason to close the 'French corner'?

But the 'French Quarter' was created at about the same time on RWG, thanks to Greg and I've known for a fact that you were against it, and if you had been the only one in charge then it would have never existed.
Please be fair to us, don't make most of us pay for mistakes of other, based on personal judgment about french people (which I can understand, since I have the same aversion for most of my fellow citizen).
If people didn't follow the rules you should ban them, no doubt about it…. but punishing the one that did nothing is unfair.
Please DO NOT CLOSE the French Corner and STOP threatening to do so.
