Hi guys, there's been some interest in these new Tag's lately, there have been a few threads pop up and some guys PM me about them, so i thought i should share this watch.
This was bought from Puretime, http://puretime03.com/aquaracer-300m-chronograph-ss-black-dial-on-ss-bracelet-jap-quartz.html
the case size is 45mm to the edge of the crownguards, 47m including the crown. the watch uses the quartz multistepper, which i have now in a rough estimate 15 watches. The 12pm subdial is recording chrono minutes, the subdial at 6 is running (ticking) seconds, the left subdial is a 24 hour hand, which a lot of these seiko quartz watches seem to have.
The don't know which maker produces the watch but the quality... for the price paid... wow, its really outstanding, this watch really is deserving of a 7750 in there. I now have 4 tag quartz watches, The Monza, Carrera, Monaco and I also have the 3 hand AquaR with black and yellow nylon strap in the mail, I see similarities in all 4.. maybe there is 1 maker who is making all this influx of Tag's
Here's the pictures and il point out some positives and flaws of this watch

I am friendly with my local AD.. but not friendly enough that he would let me take some side by side shots, especially as its January sales and he was quite busy with people in the shop, we were both pretty amazed at how good this rep is, the differences... well the yellow accents on the gen really popped the rep aint bad, but the gen 300m lettering was much brighter, the bezel insert was.. not sure how to explain.. but it was fatter, it was slightly more raised and the numbering a touch thicker and bold. also the lume dot on the rep is a teeny bit too high the gen is countersunk a little
an irritating thing n the watch is that the cyclops slightly covers the Aquaracer and Calibre 16 text...
This is the same on the gen, Tag really should have made an inverted cyclops.

onto the bracelet, nice and weighty and really well finished, no complaints here at all, same goes for the clasp, nice deep engravings, super close to the gen, and the clasp buttons for opening and closing is superb. the first thing that grabbed me is how well the end links fitted. usually these quartz reps are lacking in that area. the lugs turn down as they should which makes it fit snugly on the wrist, my wrist is only 7" but the watch feels very comfortable .
