yes indeed !
super comparison ! Thank you so much,
Repworld :drinks_cheers:
It's so detailed and such a great quality pics, I'd think this indeed deserves to be a sticky .
So, it's super clear now how the crown protrudes , IMHO bc of the shallow indentation on the case . And the fix appears to be not so difficult for the V2 .
It's nice to see how PPF managed to fix the dial ( see that holes on the case).
Well, hands look very similar ( with obvious difference on the pinion area), lume as well. The dial looks amazing, and they just got a sample with very good printing as well. IMHO it seems a gen dial is no longer needed for that model -- what do you guys think?
Looks like even the bezel is quite good with minimal difference on angle of bevel. Bevels on case also look super similar to gen. It's a fantastic replica with little to fix on V2.
The measurement of case thickness looks off to me, though, as the caliper is not reliable. But, it's clear that the difference between genuine and PPF is quite minimal.
The fact that the comparison now has all the views including the movements is super nice. And it seems to me that PPF uses an overlay for DW as well , as it's possible to see an inner ring that supports the overlay and might has the teeth .
I have just found out that Patek has changed the 324SC movmt ( non hacking seconds) to an updated new movement 26-330SC ( hacking seconds), which is a huge change for the model. There's a video also where you can see the white and blue new models side by side - which might be useful for those interested to compare theirs PPFs blue.
