...and the Mustard Belt goes to American Joey Chestnut. Chestnut ate a world record 66 hot dogs and buns consumed in 12mins. Takeru "Tsunami" Kobayashi of Japan, the defending champion for the past 6 years, came in second with a whopping 63 hot dogs and buns consumed.

They said he had a wisdom tooth pulled and his jaw was bothering him. He put down 63 dogs...I don't think it was bothering him all that much.

I think he said he developed jaw arthritis. Do to his performance i just think he just wanted to psyche everyone else out, especially Chestnut who held the world record.

The two best things were the ESPN guy's qoutes.

"If this continues you can google American hero tomorrow and you'll find Abe Lincoln, Neil Armstrong, Taylor Hicks, and Joey Chestnut"

"This is the greatest thing to ever happen to American sports"

those were truly classic.
