Narikaa’s Panarai Power Reserve – a noob review

Today my first 3 reps arrived; one from Timeshops and two from Narikaa.


Really nice package:

My first Pana:

Looks fine to my (yep, if I’ve got a clue….)

That’s not a nice fit:

AND: the strap is much to short; cannot use it!

Quickly went out and 20 minutes later returned whith longer strap. New strap doesn’t fit either, it’s too thick, but nothing a sharp knife cannot fixe.


With new strap:

Verdict: nice watch (crown not so good I guess); strap worthless!

I always liked Pam 090s . The watch looks really nice and dead on too .

Wrist size is not that abnormal (I hope) at ~18 cm and yes, the unpacking is almost something like long forgone childhood experiences.

Verdict: nice watch (crown not so good I guess); strap worthless!

For me always the first thing to be changed by a bespoke strap, will improve the watch by a 100% ...

Though I think it's a pretty decent looking pam for the money.

This Panerai is reallly growing on me.

I start looking for a nice Pam 112 but which one?

I'm willing to spend about $ 200 - $ 250; but haven't a clue where to look?

Is there a specialist out there or offer most trusted dealers (almost) the same watches?

Yeah, that one really does look fantastic.
I’m still a bit hesitant to ask for the price ($400 +?). I hoped this could stay a nice cheap hobby….

I ordered a white dial pam from him, just 80 dollars delivered ....
