It goes like clickclickclick every turn.. clockwise (direction away from me)...

normal? bad?

My 7750s wound smoothly by hand, thus I am wondering.

Thanks!

What movement are you winding and in what watch?

Normal - particularly loud if it's a manual wind movement :) My crown also turns back at me a little bit because of the tension, if that makes sense...

@jburton: it's a swiss 6947 in a 111h.

@pugz: thank you. I was expecting the winding to be smooth like the 7750s. Thanks for clarifying. :)

@canuck: thank you. Yes i understand the "back pressure" you are describing :) This further confirms that my movement is normal :)

very normal.

i have several vintage watches. some click smooth, others have a louder click.

wonder if a good oiling will solve that? i like the clicks though!

Wow! Very good input from everyone.

@enzo: Good point of view to see these movements as "pocket watch" movements
