My upgraded v1 BCE (silver hands + lello DW)

Hey all, i've been a member over @ RWG for quite awhile now, been collecting watches (gen + reps) for many years...Heres my white BCE v1 w/ best version dial...Just upgraded to silver hands thanks to a member lanakai on RWG, and a lello breitling DW which makes a HUGE difference. The hands still look black at different angles but i assure you they are silver..Here are some pics showing different dates on the new DW, as you can see lello's wheel is amazing..Since this is a v1 it only has single AR so next mod im sending it off for a chieftang double AR run.. enjoy!

Nice insignia on the rotor on the v1 version of the BCE

Looks great, that date wheel makes a world of difference, also the concentric circles in your dial look spot on.

Very nice looking watch, with the double AR it will be hart braker.I have 3 lello dws to instal to my bces but cant find a guy to do it.

That Breitling Lello DW looks awesome!

BTW, I had the same problem, I had a backlog of 4 lello DWs to install and no local watch repair would do it. They insinuated I was trying to sell as a counterfeit and well I just didn't need to defend myself.

So I bit the bullet and put them in myself. The results were incredibly worthwhile (see my posts in eyecandy for the PAM 250, I've also since upgraded a PAM 089), but risky. I am thinking of making a phototutorial for the job, but there has not been much interest so I will wait.

Thanks guys! Pugwash made a great tutorial on swapping DW's over on RWG..I had a fellow New Yorker do it for me, MarrickvilleBoy over on RWG - Hes a great guy and he did a phenomenal job and got it back to me just 3 days after I sent it out I have a omega smp chrono and an ETA 7750 dw and he's doing the swap on that also...I'll post pics when I get it back
