I have heard it said that Rolex says money while Tudor says style. I like both sides of that comment and enjoy wearing both brands. I was first bitten by a snowy project for my wife a couple of years ago. This is what the Tudor section of my collection looks like now. All of these are hand built by yours truly except the ZF Pelagos. There are some gen dials as well. Can you tell me which?

You're a man after my own heart, or at least my taste in watches. Awesome collection, and as always nice post! If that 7032 ever needs a home, I'll give it a nice one [emoji2]

Awesome and stunning collection :wow: That 7928 gilt-gloss dial is a dream with fantastic crownguards to go with it:)

Ohh man such a nice collection ;) I really like the chrono and the aged sub on the right.
Would also love to see the snowflake build which you made for your wife.
To your question which dials are gen, I would say both subs on the right side and the chrono have a gen dial ^^ let me know if I'm right or wrong ;D

Regards Kwanruan

Yes... I will take anyone.
Nice collection.
No idea of the gen dials, they all look great to me. Could you tell us?

Have become a bit of a Tudor fan myself but find the vintages just too light, but do have a Red BB, Ranger and have a Pelagos on the way.

Enjoy your Tudors!

Thanks you guys. It has been a long time bringing these together. The 7032 and for that matter all are keepers. The only gen pieces in the MC are the date wheel and split seconds hand. Of course the Valjoux 7734 movement. The rest is DW and Yuki parts.

The snowflake is one of the gen dials and is mounted on a NOS 2784 ETA. Works are housed in a reshaped vietnam case with gen 703 crown.

The other gen dial is the 94010 triangle on the other end. It is also in a vietnam case that has yet to be reshaped. (Have to find time)

The Pelagos is an untouched ZF V2 but is wearing a super soft Gunny Caitlin 22mm strap.

The vintage 7928 is pretty special and is a true gilt repaint from a vietnam maker. The case is a lightly reshaped phong with gen 702 crown.and is running a gen tudor signed ETA 2824. (No 380 for me...)

Now the only problem is which to choose each day. Yes they do cause my vintage Rollies to languish in the case!

Great collection.
I always loved the 7032. I would say rep dial. (Tudor and oyster spacing and size look off) who cares! A beauty. Could be wrong too.
No clue on the rest, but that gilt piece looks fantastic as well.
Very jealous.

Love the homeplate! My tudor addiction started with a no date snowflake mostly gen (yuki case, gen dial, phong hands, gen crown/tube/plexi, swiss eta with tudor rotor, jmb marine nationale engraving) I miss it like crazy, but it led to a gen black bay red, which led to my current watch. a heritage chrono in blue "monte carlo".

I'll post a pic of the three later. Your tudor passion is amazing and work is amazing!

Kwanruan here is an excerpt from the snowflake build for my wife's birthday.

It started out with a Yuki dial and hands I bought from Beda.
5513 case from Helenaroo
Swiss ETA 2893
Athaya tube and crown
Tudor rep folded link bracelet (adjustable for her small wrist.)
Slightly aged blue insert from the bay
For variety, extra straps including a Hirsch leather double rib, a blue leather NATO, and a blue nylon NATO.
Lastly, custom packaging.

Here's the unboxing..

Outer box

I like the wine box turned watch case. Cool idea and has a nice look to it. The 7928 has a great vintage vibe- real stunner. Great job on all the builds.

Hey Hugop,

thank you really much for taking the pictures of the "small snowflake" ;) I appreciate it!
I like the idea of having a partner watch with my wife too ^^ and I think the blue sub is a good choice for that

Best regards Kwanruan

MSAMatt how do you like the Heritage? They seem to be a great gen value these days.
