Great finish, terrific watch, but the movement failed after three months. I'm sure it's an easy fix as only the winding stem is loose.

I'll probably end up replacing the movement for a gen 2824, unless I decide to learn how to service a watch and then I'm sure I could fix it myself.

Nonetheless, this is the risk when buying a rep.

If you are going to replace the 2824-2 with a Swiss one --> http://www.startimesupply.com/merch...e=ETA2824-2W&Category_Code=2Move_Manu_ETA-z19

But you can optionally swap parts of the keyless from your broken 2824-2 to your new 2824-2 because the blackbay doesn't have the date complication (whereas nearly all 2824-2 comes with date complication). If you don't swap the keyless parts, then that is okay too but there will be an extra stop when you are setting time (not a biggie for most people because we don't always set time)
