Update on an old project.

Basically I sold everything and started from scratch. Scored a decent MQ dial and mounted it on a chronometer grade ETA 2824 and stuck it in a Phong case with custom engraving. I still want to put a 702 on it and I will call it done.

All of this for improved crownguards and the correct stem height. haha.

Absolutely STELLAR build, brother. Wow. The case is a HUGE improvement and suits that MQ dial perfectly.

Thank you everybody!

I used vintage lumed Tiger-Concepts ETA Snowflake hands. It is the correct shape and width as per gen. Really a huge huge improvement from Phong's oversized hands that were meant for 29mm dials.

The crown guards make a difference here. Good luck on the build!

I did one similar a few years back when I scored a genuine 9411 dial. Sold it to fund a genuine 9411 which I also managed to score for an unbelievable price (only a bit more than a complete phong snowflake)

Hi DVNE

That's an awesome watch!

I'm new to the replica/homage scene & my main interest is Pams...but this looks amazing...before long I wouldn't know what to get myself first.

Wear it in good health!
