I see a lot of people asking questions about (gen) dress watches and DW pops up a lot. I'm not that big of a fan of DW myself, so I thought I'd show you a dress watch I have, which I do really like:

It's the Corniche Heritage 40, comes in an amazing box aswell.

I have seen this one all over instagram. It does have a nice appeal to it, but i think quartz is what holds many back from this brand

it's the quartz and price that's stopping me from buying it, not to mention about the heritage too
I mean if I'm paying $400 I might as well get a rep with miyota 9015 / a2824 movement

It's beautiful watch and fact that it's quartz wouldn't bother me, actually I would prefer it since it doesn't have seconds hand but as above mentioned, $350 is just too much. :/ If in $200 range I would be seriously tempted, I really like it.

In this price range (A little more) - i would much rather purchase a Gen Tissot Le Locle with auto movement

Great suggestion, I had this Tissot in black but I gave it to my brother as it got no wrist time, now I kind of want it back lol

The Corniche is handsome looking. But the price is to high. Unfortunately people who aren't into watches see it all over the gram and pay the premium thinking they're getting a premium watch due to the marketing. Although the same can be said for designer branded watches. But hey if they can sell em all power to them. If you own the Corniche it's not like you should be ashamed to, it still looks good.

$400 for a quartz watch is quite steep. I like the look, would give it a try for $200 max.

Great suggestion. I am a fan of the Tissot PRS516 watches but these are also growing in me.

As mentioned above, same sentimental.
I like the design but $400 for a quartz is too much, I would get one at $200.

$400 i could get a nice dressy rep.

Agreed with above. I would've purchased the corniche long log ago had it been auto. Maybe even manual wind. But Quartz just doesn't do it for me I'm afraid
