Some shots of my collection, inspired by the Gen catalog. Been meaning to post these earlier, but was having problems (solved by pugwash. thanks)

Some of you might have seen these already...

Enjoy!

My thought a well, I looked at his pic in your post and fixed it for him. He did have bbcode off.
He must have it off in his profile, I'm going to go check.

he had disable all bb in his profile. I changed it but any posts already made would default to the way his profile was set up when the post was made (disable bb)

You should have bbcode unchecked. Your profile had it checked to disable. I fixed that.
when posting, make sure you dont disable bb by checking it.

YOUR PICS ARE GREAT!

Simply stunning photographs of an excellent selection of watches. I have some idea of the amount of work that went into this project and it must surely have been a labor of love. One of the things I find most satisfying about this group is how well so many people portray their love for the hobby through photography. It elevates the forum from a single interest, narrowly focused activity to another level entirely. Thank you for this wonderful contribution.

Very nice photos. Everything is working to me. Interesting, but not overpowering background. Focus (of my eye) goes right where you want it to. And when it gets there - it all works.

I told you other guys that my cameras need not ever come out of their cases. :D

please....keep up the good work. I love seeing images like this!!

Great comment - agree 100%. I get as much out of the photography, a long-time hobby (though relatively new to macro), as I do the watch element. Holistically it's even more satisfying - and I love seeing work like the above; along w/ 'vintagizing' (OK, not a word...)and general horological knowledge such as enzo's informative posts.

We also learn someting about construction / design from dealers such as Davidsen.

All good! :D

Thanks guys

It is a good combo... watches and photography.

Hopefully I can contribute more to this excellent group in the future!

Already have

I'd also add "car adoration" into the combined mix. The latest WatchTime has an interview w/ Bob Lutz - the GM product guru - and he's seriously into his watches.

In fact, he goes so far as to say that watches have influenced car design (and vice versa, think of the Porsche Design or Breitling Bentley, for e.g.).

Very nice. I keep hearing the theme song from the Terminator in the back of my head when I look at these photos. Now I know why Arnold wears Panerai.
