Looking great CJ: it's good to have all the collection back together. It's also more of a challenge as

(a) the number of PAMs grows
(b) the number of mods' job orders per piece at any one time 'in process'
(c) the number of borders to cross
(d) presence of significant other (ie if you are a 'crack Pammie', with a hidden addiction)

there must be a formula somewhere:

Pi = probability of the i-th collection being 'whole'

Pi = 1 / [ (a^2 x b) x c ] ^ d ; where d = 1.5 when habit is hidden, d = 1 when transparent

OK, it's early Sunday, time to clear my head and drive the newly modded 'Max' (Conforfti shark injector, cold-air intake, Supersprint hi-perf exhaust system]

cheers, bbb

Brad - yes it is a big problem.

There is an email at your work addy. BTW my warranty just expired on my S4 - you know what that means (real mods).

Chris,

You have carefully crafted a great PAM rep collection. I particularly like the consistency (in the pic: style straps; I know you also like black so it's mute testimony to the effort in this photo to change out etc.).

The S4 sounds like it's bad ass now. Would love to see it when in the 'North'. And can reciprocate in the Sth: 130 km/h is normal around here; it's maddening to be in the prairies (SK, MB) and be constrained to 100 km/h when you can see NOTHING for as far as one can discern. I still recall getting 'pinged' by a patrol, female, while driving my wife's new sports car in MB ... she (the patrol woman) didn't go for my: "I've only been here 3- weeks ..." shtick. But all true! And had been driving previously on the Autobahn at 200 km/h+.

CJ, as you know I've just gone through watch lovers' heaven along 57th and down Park: it's at these times you know you can love 'em, just can't take them home.

Cheers, BBB

CJ which PAM is that in the distressed close ups you just posted? I don't know my model numbers well, but really like the look of that one with the 1950 styling but Marina Militaire on the dial... also, what size is it (44 or 47)?

Cheers!

That watch is a rep of a vintage. Enzo can tell you the reference number. It is 47mm and I got it from http://www.etaswiss.net a trusted dealer.

The process for the strap is 7 to 10 min in bleach then rinse off with water and scrub with a soft brush (like a dish scrubber). Then you can let it dry NATURALY do not use a heater or a hair dryer as it will harden the leather. Then you can sand the edges if you like and condition with leather conditioner. Your results will vary. Depends upon what is under all the paint. Rep straps can look great once this process is done.

I am glad you like them. I could buy 5 more panerai in a blink of an eye if I did not have control.
