I've done tons of light box shots. This will be nothing like that. It is such a nice sunny day out, These "quick and dirtys" will have to do. I find some details come out better in natural light.

I've been collecting watches for my entire life and good quality reps for a few years. I've owned ALOT of watches over the years and these are my babies. They sit on display in my room and all are in "the rotation".

The display plaque was made by me with various hardware from the net and a stunning piece of British Columbia fir. Just look at the graining, it's almost perect. I hope you like it. I've donated a 4 watch version to the forum to be raffled off at a later date, so keep an eye out for that........or you could just keep harrassing Marvin till it's posted.

I have decided to keep my favorite of each Panerai style and or time. having too many Rads or 44mm at once is no good. Exept for vintage ones. You simply cannot have just one of those.

I didn't know the best place to post this, so I figured the Pam section would do. ;)

Group shot!

These are the nicer hooks for the raffle plaque but they won't fit huge buckles so I went with brass nails instead.

We'll start from left to right.

This is my 194 wich I've found out recently from Ale's awesome Pam reference post is not terribly accurate. It has a shweet TO strap and a 8artisans Buckle thats brushed with a polished pig to match the case looks. The only mods done to this watch are a matte bezel ring, a locked bezel, and water proofing wich I've yet to get tested.

This is my 288k. Straight up stock with a Heroic 18 buckle and strap. A proper 27mm taper strap for this watch is so very important.

This is my favorite PreA or PreV Pam. The T-SWISS-T orange dialed 5218-210 prototype. There are only 2 known examples on this watch. The rep is super rare aswell. DSN is the only one who makes a dial for this. The build is an old PreV case with double screw bars and no AR saphire. Dial and hands are DSN. Strap is Gunny 339 on PVD Pam thumbnail.

Notice the correct caseback without the "A".

And my favorite 44mm Pam. The 112. Pure. Simple. Sex. Goin nl2 CG, not sure the case but shaped and strap notched by me, DSN "new breed" dial and hands, Little Hero I serial caseback, movement from a "I'll never tell you" location. Short of the incaboc mod this movement is perfection. Saphire is sinlge sided AR awesomness. Strap is custom 25mm TO with 8Artisans buckle. This one is polished with brushed pig to match the watch.

On to the vintage pieces.

First up is is my beloved 6154. Silix based build with Athaya caseback, bezel, and dial hand painted and "cracked" resin filled by me. No spray paint here! Strap is a Gunny Catlin 2 with Mod Dep buckle. Super thick polished compression bars by me.

Another beloved watch. My 6152. Jackson based build. Silix hands and a NW CG and plexi. I got one of the first of these new formed plexis and am very impressed. "Monster caseback" and dial by Athaya hand painted and resin filled by me. Super thick polished bars by me aswell. Strap is a Malio Combattimento with sewn in Mod Dep. Case engraving by Neckys engraver.

DSN based 52mm EGI build. I did all the work on this and no "aftermarket" parts were used. Painted and resin filled the stock dial as I like the font proportions better than whats available for the watch head at the moment. White sencond hand, total case polish, vintage epoxy pearl, and screw in bars by me. I made and installed a thicker and taller CG pin and think it looks great. Bezel was "rusted" by me using Uwes method. Strap is one I picked up in the strap section and am not sure who made it.

Last is my 3646. I've had alot of PMs asking about this watch so I'll lay it all out here. Silix based with lugs and tube soldered by me. It looked too good the fist time so I did more of a "glob" job on it to get the refinished a old beat up watch look I was going for. Dial is Rsea and caseback is Athaya. The bezel and front glass is NW. Strap is made by me with DSN springbar Mod Dep.

Nice work
(on the collection and the photos)
MY favs are the 112 and the 288K - that's whats great about horology, so much to chose from, so many perspectives, all to capture time that cannot be spent twice...
