Good day. After reviewing many forum threads, I decided to order 2 pairs of CF watches from @jtimewatch.
GMT-Master II 126710 GRNR and Daytona 116508.
I also ordered 2 pairs of crocodile leather straps and end links for the Daytona.
29.08.24 - First communication with TD in WA. He was polite and responded quite quickly. We discussed the watches, payment and delivery methods.
30.08.24 - I made an order and paid on the same day. I was happy because everything happened very quickly. But what happened next I did not expect.
2.09.24 - I received QC link to see fotos of my order. After looking at the photo I was very disappointed because the photo did not correspond at all to what I ordered on the TD's website. On both watches the minute hands did not correspond to the letters, and the engraving on the clasp was not delatized and was applied crookedly. If this had happened only with one watch, I would have thought it was just a coincidence, but both pairs of watches had these defects. That same day I replied to the email and said that both pairs of watches did not ok for me. I asked for other watches that would match the photos on the site and if that was not possible, I asked for a refund.
3.09.24 - I get confirmation from Lana that it asks to replace the watches from factory.
6.09.24 - I received new QC. What do you think is on the photo? They replaced only one pair of watches (GMT-Master), where the digital display looks a little better, but still not like on the TD's website. At the same time, Daytona is still the same. I requested a refund.
I will definitely inform you about further changes regarding this order. But, please, write to me about your experience. Was there a similar situation and how did you solve it?
