Finally got my first rep recently and started some mods based on the studies that i've done from Ale's guide and certain gurus in RWI. Anyway, here are my current movement pictures. No pictures of the dial as we have that everywhere on the forum. Initially, i planned to get a 390 to swap the case but unfortunately Noob decided to recycle back old parts , thus me withholding my purchase. Will move on to the mod the inner parts when i disassemble the watch for service. Therefore, my journey to a 'perfect' 111 will be recorded here.

Thanks

its from a 6497-1 movement I bought from eBay with no decorations. I reshaped the swan neck to match the overall shape of the gen but did not touch the head.

The SN spring is obviously rep, but the shape is one of the best I have ever seen. The more obvious tell is the spring support and mainly the flat head.

Have you had problem with the distance between screw holes ? Because usually H maker spring has shorter distance than gen and Noob.
Do you realize a shorter distance between fixation screw holes of the SN spring?

Nope, mine fit in like a charm. I used a loupe to check the fit and the holes on the swan neck are aligned with the holes on the bridge. Only issue I had was the damn screws are so small! I had to reshape my smallest screwdriver to fit. By the way what do you mean by spring support?

Sorry
With spring support I mean the wider part of the spring with the holes to put the screws to fix the spring. The flat head is the obvious flaw

Considering i already have a nice looking swan neck, i played with idea of reshaping the noob swan neck and... Voila! Now i know why modding aint no easy task cause all these parts are so freaking small irl. Anyway, this will go into the other 111 thats coming from Sead.

I think it looks okay for a first try and considering swan necks these days barely have any space at the end of its support. Guess i can finally put my steady doctor hands into good use!

Another mod that i tried. Reshaping the corners of the crownguard and they are all now perfect 90 degrees. Polished the rough insides too! :) Finally, the infamous pin mod; recessed and polished the pin to follow gen like appearance.

Sorry for picture quality, used my loupe on the iPhone lol.

Amazing! Due to Easter Monday I will get newest 111 by tomorrow and will
start modding, too. Pin mod looks flawless to me.

Tried fixing the angle of the lever today and hell, this is the last time im touching this lol. Definitely not easy to reshape it. Used my dremel diamond bit to do the job.

There's no way to fully fix the angle as i did this, it was at the expense of the metal surrounding the roller ball.

Finally, completed all mods on the movement. Only thing left is to sort a perfect case.
Mods done:

Gen incabloc and lyre spring
Micrometric screw swap (correct length and headshape)
Swan neck swap (correct shape but no reshaping done. Not needed imo as not noticeable in real life.
Brushed bridge pallet
Brushed setting lever cover
Polished crown and ratchet wheels.
Darken the jewels (not as dark as the ones on the picture though)
Movement fully disassembled, cleaned and serviced with only Moebius oils :punk:.

I think i've covered most the movement mods except for the hour gear wheels. I'll probably change them to ETA in the future as brushing would not get the result i want. The rep gears look good anyway.

Gen/Rep Comparison. A trained eye can easily spot the differences. I think what i need now are ETA ratchet and crown wheels and it will be 'perfect'.

I'm proud to say my journey to a 'RepGen' 111 has finally completed. This took longer that i've expected as it took time to source several parts. The watch now has the current specs:

Movement:

Gen incabloc and lyre spring
Micrometric screw swap (correct length and headshape)
Swan neck with very accurate shape, unlike H-factory's. The swan neck is also plated.
Brushed bridge pallet
Brushed setting lever cover
Polished crown and ratchet wheels. (sourced new ones with smaller bevels)
Darken the jewels (not as dark as the ones on the picture though)
Changed all blue screws to perfect ones without any paint chips.
Flattened cannon pinion.

Case and body:
The latest v4 case with good lug shapes. Removed every single machining lines on the case and inner lugs. This mod makes a huge difference to the case. Though shape is good, Noob still has certain machining lines connecting from the lug to the body so i sanded them away carefully and re-polished. Inner lugs are usually very rough on every Noob case, so the same treatment for it.

Managed to source a gen crown and it made a difference to the winding of the watch! As for crown guard, it was the hardest to source as you can no longer get a Noob crown guard with correct lever now. This was the biggest tell for me without looking at the movement. Got lucky and found one 390 crown guard from last year's batch. Modded the crown pin to gen level without shaving off the bevel on the tip.

So, ladies and gentleman i present to you my 'Gen' AAA+ Pam111 v4. :punk:
