My new TC sub 16610

came to this forum in search of Bracelet for my Gen AP RO classic , got hooked to this community .
I am not a big fan of Rolex , but the simplicity of Submariner attracted me . But i was not sure i would like it enough , but no one would lend me one to try and see , this forum helped me in this aspect , after thorough searching i zeroed in on two best Subs - BK and TC . Finally ordered TC as it was more nearer to gen construction . TC was very help full and resourceful , he helped me thorough the process smoothly . smooth Transaction and after a month of wait i got my TC LV Sub , here are some pics , will try to borrow my friends Gen Sub and will do the comparison this week end . here are pics ( these are from point and shoot camera , will try to take better pics with fuji Xe1 during comparison )

I bought a gen black insert , will be putting it soon

please suggest me any other mod that can be done to this Sub to make it better

once i decide to buy gen will put this one up for sale , keep watching or may be its worth keeping it even with Gen ?????

as for what u COULD do to improve it.? well, lets seeee:-

1) GEN crown & tube.
2) GEN crystal, altho may not be necessary as the AR'ed cyclops wouldnt be accurate to the non-engraved rehaut.

but i'd think its fine the way it is. i'm gona get one of these soon.

Ooooh weeee! She looks great. I ordered mines last week and this will be the most painful month long wait. I ordered a LN even though I have been lusting after a LV. I just figured the price of a gen LV insert would cost as much as the TC watch itself.

She looks great! I think the TC will satisfy your gen cravings (...or you will go ahead and buy the gen and sell the gen later on. I hear the TC is that good.)

It's TC LV insert. Mapman 57 And I will putting gen black insert as black color goes well with most daily wear , and LV will keep for odd casuals

I bought LV from TC , as like it and gen LN insert is way cheaper than LV .

We'll after having gen only I can decide , which one to keep , may be I will go Vintage rolex way it's a costly addiction .......

The fist improvement for me is the bezel...I used to have it and teeth were shallow..But if it doesn't bother you i would keep as it is...In daily basis noone can call you out with this one

Looking good, being lazy i have 2 TC's one LV (TC's insert) and one LN (with gen insert).

They are absolutely gorgeous, and always on my rotation.

Now waiting for my TC to be back from complete service , 3 days now , hopefully should receive it by Tuesday
Just few days with TC , I have decided its worth buying a gen , have to search for LV 16610 , I heard they are not available freely at AD .

TC is very busy plus remember there's about three to four different forums involved and everyone wants to get their email in first. Be patient. He will answer in due time.

Thanks for your response! I do agree, the man is super busy as he is famous all over for his creations. I just wanted to know if he received my payment as I did it through a bank transfer and you can never be certain with those form of payments as they are not that common around here. But it's all good, in the end it all will be worth it

I had sent by Bank transfer too , he replied back as soon as it reached his account . Don't PM , mail him , he usually responds in 3 to 5 days ( my experience ) and check with your bank too , weather money reached the transferee .
