i had peter make a strap for my 6154 and it goes with the watch perfectly. i asked him if he could make a catlin 2 without the artificial damage as i was going to wear it to work and will damage it naturally, he said no problem. i have never seen leather this thick and still be as soft or softer than the seats in your car. it is absolutely amazing! now he is making a strap for my 177h and i can't wait until it gets here.

thanks peter!!!!!

as usual i apologizes for my crappy pictures in advance.

Awesome choice on the strap. Do you plan on vintagizing the 6154?

it will look vintage alright. i am going to wear it to work building airplanes. it and the strap will be plenty vintage in about a year or less. i ordered an extra plexi when i bought it because i will probably end up braking it at some point. lmao

So, HK, everything good with the Rollie 6154 now?

The strap looks really good, though!

well, unfortunately it is going back next week. the movement is keeping time as good as our gen rolex's but....... the hour hand is ever so slightly rubbing the minute hand and it is slowly but surely putting brush marks on it. also one of the finish plates glued onto the movement came off and caught in the balance wheel, i removed it and put it in a little baggy. it took about 1 month for these things to happen but i contacted davidsen and he immediately returned my email and asked me to sent it back for a new movement and hands. i just hope the new movement keeps time as well as this one because it rocks.

davidsen has been the consummate professional and is defiantly going to take care of it and that is about all we can ask for in this hobby. i am sure it will be fine when it comes back home but i will miss it while it is gone. i truly love this watch and even with these little issues i do highly recommend it and davidsen.

it goes without saying that gunny rock the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gunny looks great and look so comfortable.

Sorry to hear you have to send your watch back. I ordered a vintage from Davidsen a few weeks back . While winding the crown popped off. Lucky for me it was an easy fix. Hope everything works out.
