My New Panerai 010d Build Today

Finally got around to a little watch building this week which resulted in two new additions to my box


This 010d build in a modded old school case , DSN v1 best dial, Swiss eta 6497 with engraved bridges and more


I also built a noob cased 002b but more about that another time ........

The CG on the 010 is from an unknown source - old style something?

It is a slightly larger CG that the Sead A-F (on the 002). Very nice fit and feel but maybe the top upper surface is too flat?

I will pop some pics and info on the 002b build - its in a noob case, Eddie Lee dial and b serial closed case back, Sead CG, Noob plat movement, stem and crown

The 002 was in fact the same OP 6520 as the 010 at that time.

Also, Just taken in the last hour or so, a Gen PAM 10 spotted in Edinburgh... If only.

I'm not a fan of white faced Pams... BUT a watch like that could change a fella's mind! that is really nice build enjoy it...

Thanks for that - it looks like the more modern 114 with open case back. The main difference is the contemporary brushed crown guard.

Indeed. The CG gives this one away. It is a PAM114

I'm with you.... All of my builds are strictly old school. I'm addicted to polished CGs and T Dials

Many thanks, I have been following your builds and progress with varied projects across the forums. I keep buying the latest of everything, then flipping them - well other than the Noob 088 o series , which is great!
