My new pam186 gmt from toro specials

I am pleased to share some photoshots of my new PAM 186 GMT from Toro Specials.

Actually I was willing to buy a Pam 187 from the specials with 7750 movement but missed the opportunity - and then I decided to go for 186.

My first experience with Toro was quite satisfactory - it took a little while to warmup but than it was superb fast correspondence. Following the payment QC pics arrived immediately, all concerns responded promptly and delivery was my fastest experince - the watch arrived to Istanbul in 6 days. He absolutely deserves to be on the TD list.:woot:

The built quality of the watch for the price seems fair enough.
The bezel and the dial, to me, is really good.
Still, the strap pins and the lume coating on the hand (although the lume is fine, there coating colour is not uniform and seems the coating is not finely applied) are not very good for careful eyes.
The case on one of the pin connections has a minor finishing error.
But the rest seems OK.
The back plate is not the correct one- but you but it knowing it in advance.

Will be pleased to have your comments:cheers:

It's a nice watch! I still prefer 243 but you can't beat Toro's price on these. Just put good leather strap on it from one of our strapmakers and you will have stunning watch. Enjoy! ;)

Thanks Shelby,
My top of the agenda is still to get a Pam187 with correct subdials- noticed you have one :cheese::D:

Then, as per your suggestion, invest in a nice strap to enjoy both stunning watches.

Yes, I love my 187! It's a great watch and it's so nice on the wrist but I'm just waiting for a custom strap from Bronzy because watch itself is pretty big and this accordion rubber strap makes it even bigger and I have only 7,1'' wrist. :/ I think it will look much better on thick leather strap and Bronzy did awesome job on this one. A lot better than I expected. :) Will post some pics when it arrives.

Also my 187 is 7750 version but I love it and couldn't afford better and more expensive 7753.

As for the leather straps, it's good investment. When I first joined the forum I didn't understand that but when I got my first one, I changed my opinion. :D:

Thanks for your appreciation.
My choice for 186 over 092 was driven by
- GMT function
- better look of the dial overall
- recessed seconds subdial with circular pattern
Still both watches seems worth the price:thumbsup:

First if all, what a stunner! Congrats!

Question: Is the case back different from Gen? At least comparing pic from Toro site and pic of gen on internet, they are different. Or is Toro's a special edition?

Any expert can advise?

PAM 186 has another different and inaccurate caseback from North Pole expedition model
PAM 092 has correct caseback

But ALE, the Toro PAM 092 seems to be missing the serial number on the caseback, from the pic of Toro's site, can you confirm?
