My new PAM 360 Noob

Sorry but this is pretty pic heavy...
I had been toying with the idea of buying one of these Noob PAM 360s for quite a while. I finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and bought one from another member that was in the EU. So I had to wait a while to get it. While I waited, I worked with a strap maker to come up with something just for this watch. What he came up with was a vintage-looking light brown horween leather strap, with black stitching and black stain down the sides and over the stitches. It matches the watch perfectly IMHO. I think the final product really looks great. So here it is... Funny thing is, as soon as I get this together, the PAM 438 Tuttenero comes out. I may have to dump this watch to buy one of those. LOL. Anyone seen a 438 in person???

Hey, it sure does!! They are very similar straps, albeit from different makers. I got this one M2M. I was actually selling the other one in order to buy this one. I prefer nice vintage-looking straps. And to me, the staining on this one and the one you got from me, really look cool. Compare 'em....

Thanks buddy. I have been trying to get this strap right for a while now. I've actually ordered and paid for this strap 3 times and from 3 different makers...and they were all wrong in some way. But this guy nailed it.

Yep, very similar in the staining aspect. Gives it a very nice contrast to the main coloring.

Yeah, I agree. The contrast between leather and stain looks good. I'm wondering how it would look on a 441 or 386. I am leaning towards one of those models next.

Yeah, the color is too dark. But I quit letting stuff lke that bother me. I'm not trying to fool anyone, I just like it. Even though its too dark. I used to drive myself nuts with stuff like that. Not anymore. I just buy watches that are appealing to me. Then I usually end up wearing them and most importantly, enjoying them. Besides, I can't decide which is worse, the color of the case or the fact that there is only like 300 of these things in the world. I do pretty well, but not THAT well. LOL.

I feel the same but the black case looks cheap in general. I've looked at the 360 reps very closely and out of the box I'd take the H factory version. it's the only h factory Pam I choose over the noob versions.

The overall look was my main concern. The total package if you will. I had a pretty good idea what this strap would look like, and the darker case seemed to make sense. Again I'm just trying to find a watch that I enjoy wearing that I think looks cool. And I think I did that this time.
