My New PAM 292 & 203

Just bought 2 pams from a local dealer in my country. PAM 292 Radiomir Black seal and PAM 203 Luminor 8 Days Angelus.

They look nice and fine for me, but Im looking forward for opinion and advices.

Both of them are exceptionally BEAUTIFUL pieces. congrats!

really drawn to the sub in the radiomir.. as for the angelus,it's really cool that the dome does not distort the numbers.

There is something I really want to mod with the 203, it's the crown lever, if you guys see that the lever still don't look good enough, it's too flat in the edge. Maybe someone can suggest me where to find a crown lever like this :

You can still find some pretty cheap ones in flea markets, mostly in europe. They have been used a lot in travel alarm clocks. But you need to be carefull to get one that winds using a crown on the side and not a key at the back.

Your 292 isn't too shabby... Better than the shiny ones normally out there.

Your 203 could use some improvements, while you wait for that angelus movement... What I'd do with the 203:

1. Change the dial to a correct one. Global Time in Mangga Dua ground floor has an old school cartel 203 that they have trouble moving. Haggle the hell out of it and swap the dial... Have it lumed while you're at it.

2. Tourby over at RWG just released some angelus hands. If you're ever serious about fitting an Angelus movement if you can get your hands on one, you'd need the hands set. Nightwatch can service and do the backplate mod together with a proper movement ring and fabricate new stem.

Then... you're golden...

Yeah, that is too funny. I mean, I sort of understand some typos, but how on earth someone looked at the gen dial, which reads "8 GIORNI BREVETTATO" and then put "8 GLDRM BREVETTAID" on the rep dial is beyond me. I think someone from the rep factory was drinking paint thinner for breakfast that day. icard2:

@aardian, thx for the info bro, I will go and check it out if i visit Jakarta. Hope it's still be there. About the lume, does the Global Time offer reluming dial and hands . ?

If you get that watch, your CG problem is also fixed because that watch comes with a correct CG. That place doesn't offer mods, it's a drop-ship outlet, much like MBK in Bangkok. You can try contacting member alvinado here, he can sort you out for lume and he's Singapore-based which makes it easier for anyone in SE Asia.

Just to clarify....this is the picture of the lever he wanted.

The lever you got there is pretty shocking must be hard to pull out. But it is an easy swap. Usually you can find the CG with lever set and just swap it. Pitty your actual CG looks decent.
