Hi guys,

I seen a lovely Tudor Black Bay Blue in the replica for sale section that I wasn't aware of. I fell in love with it and the genuine price wasn't outrageous ($2500). Today I went and bought it at an AD.

It's such a beautiful watch and wanted to share it with you guys. I find the quality and craftsmanship outstanding when compared to the replicas I have been dealing with.

Congrats on a beautiful watch. It seems to be Blackbay-Day today. Wear it well:)
More descriptions/first impressions are welcome, You had a nice BK DSSD and Datejust with swiss ETA.
While winding and setting the time is an expectably different experience - what about the wrist?

Looking forward to more action-pics of the Tudor BBB in the near future:) Great choice

Congrats dude. Reps are awesome but gen's gen.

I did the same and went gen SubC. Haven't gotten bored of it yet myself.

Just wanted to follow-up and give you guys an idea of how it wears on the wrist.

I've had an opportunity wear it for a few days and it's really been a pleasure. I really like the weight of the Tudor BBB with leather deployant compared to wearing my BK DSSD; it's very light. It also isn't as tall, so wearing it with a long-sleeve dress shirt is much easier; it doesn't snag on the cuff at all.

The movement is very accurate compared to the reps I've owned. It gains about 1 second every three days, which I couldn't believe at first. Power reserve is fine; somewhere around the neighborhood of 40 hours.

The Tudor really shines both outside in the sun and in the dark. In the sun, the case, crystal, and bezel just light up and pop.The black dial takes on a new look and appears to be chocolate. Took it into a movie theater, and the lume was very bright and continued to last until the movie was over.

Overall I'm really enjoying the quality and craftsmanship of a genuine Tudor compared to replica/super rep Rolexes. Whenever you are in the sun or under bright lights, the Tudor just sparkles, like a piece of jewelry. I never had that happen with any super rep; not to the same degree. I'm really happy that Tudor is back in the US and offering quality watches at a fraction of the price. I'm quite happy with the Swiss ETA movement; no need for the in-house Rolex and huge price bump.

Wow congratulation! Thank you for your share such a nice watch.

I think from it looks rep and gen. Rep had made pretty good close to gen.

I would like to have leather strap like those!

Yeah, I like the leather. I bought GEN SS bracelet version though. I have got it on the nylon right now. Also very nice.

This is mine on gen nylon.
I have a custom leather strap coming.
Will update once I get that on.
Apologies for bad photo skills.
