Case looks great, awesome actually. but I don't think someone would ever do that to a genuine panerai watch, so I'd change the dial from Panerai to a hommage dial without the word Panerai.

Very interesting idea, one that I like a lot. For my taste, I'd probably go with a worn/distressed look that was a little more realistic. Some people like distressed designer jeans, which this reminds me of (good thing). Me, I prefer to distress my own. Nice to have a story behind each imperfection.

In person the distressed parts on the case don't look as extreme as the close-up photos I posted, they a touch more subtle. Its all the perspective. hackR used a cope cod cloth treatment and some fine sandpaper to a Getat case to create this look. I think he did a great job.
