So I'm a newbie and the more I read and the more I searched the web, the more terrified I became of being scammed in this weird world of replica watches. In the end, I concentrated on this board because it just seemed to suit my needs best. I wasn't familiar with Panerais but quickly came to appreciate them very much: they just fit my aesthetic. Then I read Aquaracer's review of Davidsen's PAM 112 and decided to take a deep breath, contact Davidsen and get one exactly like the review. I'm sitting at my office at the University now, looking at the watch that just arrived. It is a sheer work of art. Absolutely magnificent. I'm not an expert, but I do know good craftsmanship, and this is it. The whole process, from contacting Davidsen, to paying for the watch, to receiving the trackling number and watching it fly Canada-ward was painless and quick. Am I ever pleased. So, a big thank you to those of you who made me feel welcome and who offered advice. Thanks for the great review, Aquaracer, and thank you, Davidsen, for the beautiful watch.
.....and now the stupid question: I'm new to PAMs. Do I have to pull out the crown guard lever to wind the watch (hey, some of us don't know these things)?
