my new davidsen 232

just got this 232 from davidsen. Only complaint is davidsen didn't pair it with a brown strap as shown on his pics of this offering. I didn't specify that myself but thought that's the default. Last watch I ordered from him I asked for a brown strap but still ended up with a black one. Don't know what to do with him about that. Anyway the 232 isstunning, the dial is the most accurate among all the dealers' except for the text L SWISS MADE L being too close to the index 6. Everything else: SL hands and indices, case polish, clearance from the indices to the edge of the dial (most common flaw), just perfect. Looks and feels expensive.

The black strap looks good with the Base dial, (as a rule of thumb, most
Panerai Base dials come with a black strap) But if you tell DSN about the
colour issue I am sure he'd swap it for you ... (and owning only one strap
is anti-Panerai behavior at it's worst. )

Beautiful watch, BKLM. I have a brown/white buffalo 26mm strap that came with my PVD MM20 that you can have if you want it. You just pay postage...

My 232 came with a brown strap and I put on a black gator from Bob. Congrats on yours. it is a great watch. If I could change anything though it would be making the lugs shorter and more streamlined to the case.

My first thought too. Funny, for my incoming watch (ordered Sunday night, not sure when it'll show), I actually purchased two straps two weeks ago. :lol:
