Yes it does, pics were taken directly under a rooftop window in full lightning conditions. Bit it is not better or worse than the rep AR.

I guess i've been wondering this for a while now but would you then consider getting a prof x2AR crystal for the gen or something? Lol.

Are you crazy? Why modding a gen and reducing value and losing all warranty?

Will post some pics in a few days. Have to Photoshop all serials prior to posting them here. Panerai changed to painted dials in 2015. Latest was p or q series with sandwich dials. R Series And later only come with painted dials for the Base 560 and the Marina 510

I think this new series of PAMs are the called "mixed" or "hybrid" dials neither real sandwich nor real sausage
The lume is a very little bit recessed and very flat

True, but it is not seeable with only normal eyes. You will need a macro to discover this "little recession".

This was the same for me when I saw the first time those dials. I needed the loupe to see clearly the recession. And got impressed how flat was the lume material and how clean were the appplication and the
marker contours. It will not be easy to get that in a rep

What i wonder all about is how strong the gen lume is compared to our rep lume, even when applied that thin. The lume is very strong and last a whole night, so that the watch can easily be read in the early morning hours.
