Some pics and a mini review of my 55mm Egiziano. The watch was bought from Timesshop (http://www.timesshop.net/4033-pa9758---panerai-radiomir-black-dial-sslt---asian-manual-wind.html), there are a few different versions advertised and I wanted to get one with green lume as opposed to the orangey 'vintage' lume some of the others come with.
I'll start with the negatives first: it was advertised as the full 60mm sized version with an Asian Unitas movement, however hearing a rotor spin around, I opened it up and saw a cheap 21J auto movement inside.
Shortly after putting it next to a 47MM sub, it seemed a bit "small" in comparison, I had imagined it would be bigger, so out came the ruler...it measures approx - 18mm thick, 55mm across the bezel and 62mm including CG. Weight: 203.5g with the rep strap, and 217.5g with the current strap.
Bezel and CG level are both typically very loose, bezel is the correct 12 click bezel and has approx 3-4mm of play.
Positives: I absolutely LOVE this watch! (still upset about the crappy 21j mov) but kinda glad it's not the full 60mm monster as I've been wearing it daily ever since I got it! Engraving is not too shabby and there are no razor sharp edges.
Onto the pics:
