I know some of you don't understand why people do this to a watch, I really like the look. The member who did this for me is a great guy. Great communication and fast service. I've already commissioned another piece from him.

Well, here is one reason. Whenever I purchase a watch, be it gen or rep I want it in perfect condition. As soon as I get the first scratch or ding in it I feel like I want to throw the watch away. The little scrape or scratch drives me crazy. So when I get a vintage watch, it's already beat. So if I do something to it, either I can't notice or don't care. I think its some kind of disorder. Lol.

If it was a sixty year old watch with a story I'd find it appealing. But the distressed fashion thing is not appealing to me.
