Just bought this a month ago and it stopped winding. When I push the crown back in it's like it doesn't click into place and it won't wind the watch. Really really bummed beyond spending over 400$ for it I bought some expensive straps and modifications so I'm pretty deep in it. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it an easy fix?

I've never opened one up... Kind of nervous to, do you have a diy on how to take a closer look? Does this require specific tools?

With it not clicking engaging to the winding position is sounds like the screw that holds them stem in is not screw in tight. This happens sometimes. Its a simple fix. If its keyless works its still a simple fix that any watch smith can do pretty cheap :)

Find a competent local watchmaker to have a look at it. It will be faster and the 6497 based movements are dead simple to work on, so it should be cheap, as well.

See my link below to find a local watchsmith, or send it off to "14060 or 16610". It's a simple fix but an aggravation at that price point for sure.

Agreed, but it's not like the watch arrived DOA. Hard for DSN to predict what movements will have issues 30 days down the road.

I have no doubt that DSN would stand behind the watch, but too much risk and hassle with sending it back to Hong Kong for repair, IMO.

Contact DSN and he'll likely credit you the price of the repair toward your next purchase.
