completely remanufactured case (noob case).
vintage folded bracelet with sub (very rare) closure.
Yuki Bezel fadded.
Athaya pearl.
plexy GS PA
disc date 6-9 open aged.
Eta swiss 2846 -21600 movement.
high quality Vietnamese dial.
spring bars swiss made.
vintage aged hands.

Excellent choice with the pre-transitional model. What prompted you to choose the ETA for the low beat rather than another movement?

xray7 I think the ETA2846 is a very good and common movement for these vintage builds.
The advantages of the 2846 is the low-beat with 21.600 compared to the Gen one with 19.600 - so very close and period correct.
Also the date setting mechanism - counter clockwise - is like the Gen movement.
The best way to be period correct without sourcing a Gen movement (Gen movement needs at least a Vietnam / Phong case and the costs are than much higher)

Great looking build.

I am currently looking for a date disc overlay for this watch. It is a JK with a vietnam dial / 2836. I feel like the datewheel is always too far to the left of the date window.

Any suggestions?

One question: what plexy crystal is this? Where have you sourced it. Looks very nice with this very close look to GEN (if it looks in real like on the nice pictures)
