So, after silently observing I finally bought my first watch. (a gen super avenger 2) My philosophy is that if I am going to get into reps, i should at least have something to compare it to. But man o man is it so much different looking at the thing in real life than on macro pictures on a 27 inch screen!!!!

P.s. Here is the watch.

Gorgeous watch! I also own a Gen Super avenger and it is a real beauty on the wrist. Pictures certainly don't do it justice

Nice. I have the Skyland avenger as it doesn't look as savage on my girly wrist. Thinking of getting the same strap you have. Is it comfy?!!

I honestly am not to fond of it. I am thinking of going croc.

Does anybody know how big of a difference it is between a breitling croc strap and something 3rd party?

It's all personal preference in my opinion. From my experience you can opt to have a custom strap made for any of your gen watches and spend as little or as much as you like. You can find straps equal in quality as something you would purchase from an AD with the words "Breitling" stamped on it, likely for less. I personally have gone 3rd party for many of my straps on my Gen watches as I prefer to change things up quite often and this way allows me to truly have a custom piece. If you are not concerned with the strap being stamped with the word "Breitling" on the inside I would definitely give a solid strap maker a try!

Buy a good quality croc strap and it will be fine, at probably 20% of the cost of a gen Breitling.

Thanks guys. Not as worried about the branding as much as the look of quality.

Don't take my word for it. I like to fidget with my watch and the rubber strap keeps it very secure and in place. If you like that than its a good strap.
