My first replica purchase

april 22: Shipment

Started talking to Hontwatch about his IWC stock april 16, found something I wanted april 17, got my Wise account set up on 18th which enabled me to pay.
QC had very detailed videos and pictures where he moved the Hands, showed the stopwatch functionality etc. I feel confident in getting a good example where I'm knowledgable on the flaws it has (very minor, I'm very happy)

My watch arrived today. Only the crooked 11 is a visible flaw irl. I think only I will notice.

My only issue is I can't seem to pull the crown out. The watch arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and I suspect the watch is heavily underpressured.

Any tips on how I can get the crown out without doing any damage?
I guess worst case time will probably solve this one.

This reminds me of the time I received a watch with a crown that was impossible to unscrew. The dealer sent me a new stem and another part I think and I had to send the watch out to get those parts replaced. It was a drag but it did get fixed

I really hope that's not the case. I'm really hoping it's just vacuumed real bad for a while

Yeah I just realized it's a screw-in, I just unscrewed it and it's fully functioning.

What a relief! In my case that time I couldn’t unscrew the crown at all. I’m glad that was a long time ago

Some help needed please. First time purchasing. New to this. What is the process of buying from hont? I messaged on WhatsApp and was asked to send a pic of what I wanted which I did. He then asked me to make full payment. No discussion etc. is this normal?

I dont know which model, but there are different manufactureurs on different models. So if normal from hont? I dont know. Other dealers show exactly what you order (factory, model) before you are told to send money. Maybe you should do some reading here first before sending your money somewhere.

Pnthere 22m mixed. I've done some reading and from what I can gather, most have a discussion first to talk about where to source etc but this didn't happen? Just said what I wanted and they asked for full payment? Said I won't receive Luc until I make full payment

The dealers are terrible at reccomending watches to be honest with you. They're like car salesman. They'll reccomend you the car with the best margin for them, not necessarily the best model overall....
