Hi folks
I have been looking at the forum and browsing a few sites whilst considering a rep watch.
Trying understand the jargon and ins and outs of the whole thing.

I do have a couple of real watches a cartier le man's.
But it's not really my style.

I was thinking as a first buy something cheap just ti get my feet wet.
And saw this tag. CALIBRE HEUER 01 CHRONO SS GRAY DIAL SS

My question is I have seen.it at puretime for about 138 dollars.
and
I have seen it on watch outlet for 90 dollars..
To me the look like the same watch
If anyone could offer me some advice as to where is the best place to buy one from I would greatly appreciate the help.
Like I said I'm totally new to this and just a little unsure how to proceed.

Thanks for you time...(see what I did there) :)

Watchoutlet is wholesale price
You will not get

Help if customs takes watch
Cant return if DOA

Spend the extra and buy retail to receive those above securities

You re going for a entry level piece so it's going to have "flaws" to the gen so just be aware of what they are so you're not disappointed on arrival.

Thanks for the reply.. I know I'm a total 'noob' what are QC pics. And is doa dead on arrival ?
I'd absolutely have no problem spending the extra to buy from pure time. Its seems a well put together place I guess.
That's the advice I was after. Just a bit of pointing in the right direction to get my feet wet as it were.
Thanks again.

Edit. I have read the advice given in the sections I probably should have read beforehand. So me forgive for that..
I read a great post by a chap who passed away.. Robert I think.
And another on buying for the first time.
So I'm pretty up to speed now.
Thanks guys .

Sure . What should I be looking out for.
I have a legit cartier le man's. That was handed down as such. But I'd never wear it really it's not my thing.
And a submariner I bought about fifteen years ago in dubai.

Apart from a 150 quid lacoste watch that was a birthday gift. These are the only watches I've had.
But the more I look the more I kind of like what I see.

I was looking at the excaliber knights of the round table watch. Which looks amazing
I then looked up the proper original . Geeez it's like 250 grand.

But yeah I really would not know the difference between a replica and original. Except for what I would see on the net I guess..

Thanks for your reply and help too. Its appreciated..
Cheers
