Hi all,

I would appreciate some help in identifying the model (if possible) and what the function of small dial on the right is. I have purchased my first Panerai. Was an impulse buy but it really looks good. Pics:

PAM 615 is the reference number -- working flyback movement? The 3 o'clock subdial is the hour counter for the chronograph. Or, at least it should be haha.

What's the flyback movement?
Lol the sub dial is always moving and the long thin blue and brown hands are constantly moving like second hands, albeit about 15 seconds of each other. Lume is quite good so far

If all the dials are always moving I bet this is a Seagull movement...how much did you pay for this? And did you pick up in China or somewhere else in Asia? What happens with the upper and lower pusher when pressed?

Paid just about $100 from a guy here who needed the cash. Unfortunately nothing happens when the pushers are pressed. What is supposed to happen?

So do both subdials at 9 and at 3 move simultaneously?
Or does the subdial at 3 moves simultaneously as the hour hand when you adjust the time?

It seems like the chrono flyback hands seems to work judging from pix

For $100, I'd say you got more than you paid for. Not perfect but not a complete disaster either.

Yeah it's a good starter watch I reckon. The subdial at 3 moves twice the distance of the minute hand. Not sure what is for.... Does anyone know?

Yeah hope they will soon.

Wore it on Monday and didn't wear it yesterday. Wearing it today and it didn't lose time at all. Charge seems to last well.

Pic for today

Pretty solid pickup for 100$ as I got the one I used for the review for way more than that.

Fantastic deal for 100
This is one of my favorite gens. I'm hoping now that factories are doing rattrapante complications, that flyback will be next and the PAM615 will soon follow!!!

I am still wondering why the factory repped the rattrapante first than the flyback, being a slightly more complicated movement.
