well ,i just had to see what all the fuss was over pams. i didnt want to spend alot so when this Arktos came up on WBK (Stan) listing on repgeek/rwi i pulled the trigger. wasnt sure if it would look odd on my girly wrist?

as usual stan delivered a great watch very quickly. ive only had it 4 hours but in that time ive taken a few thou off the base of the crown guard to give a really tight lever action. it was pretty good as it was. ive had the stem/crown out and greased the gasket, and ive had the back off to grease the o ring.

having just taken the dog for a run i decided to try out the watch in the pool when i got back all hot and sweaty! results were great i swam about for 30 mins and the pam remained water resistant! result!!

im now seriously giving consideration to one of davidsens pam 005 logos?

My experience with Stan has been the same as yours. What a great source to test drive something without breaking the bank. Enjoy your watch.

Something about the Arktos line that is just cool. My wife says I'm wearing my Dad's watch (I have girly wrists too), but to me they're cool watches. I'm putting my 092 up for sale shortly to fund an ultimate North Pole GMT.
